Not sure if this is precisely the identical product from Apple that costs $1,999 before the sales tax.

The value of IHG One Rewards points is roughly 0.22 cents each (a fraction of a cent).

Conclusion

These merchandise rewards never make sense unless you have no other use for IHG One Rewards points.

IHG sells points at half of a cent each, while they are worth less than half of that when redeemed for these merchandise rewards.
